The Morningside Center of Mathematics (MCM), Chinese Academy of Sciences invites applications for several visiting scholar positions. These positions are for no more than 3 months (in exceptional cases, no more than 6 months). Applicants should have a PhD in pure mathematics, with a tenured or tenure-track faculty position or a postdoctoral position.

Application Deadline: The selection committee meets three times per year. The application deadline is February 15th, June 15th, October 15th every year.

Allowance: 600 CNY per day (before deductions and tax). The MCM also provides accommodation.

About the MCM: The MCM has been promoting mathematical research and exchange since its foundation in 1996. The director of the center is Prof. Shing-Tung Yau.
