Title: Tautological relations and complexity of quantum cohomology
Time: 10:30-11:30 June 18, 2026 (Thursday)

Abstract: Gromov-Witten (GW) invariants are certain intersection numbers on the moduli spaces of stable maps. I will talk about two topics related to GW theory. The first is the Buryak-Shadrin tautological relations on the moduli spaces of curves, they give universal equations for the generating function of GW invariants. The second is the complexity of quantum cohomology, which comes from complexity for 2-dimensional topological quantum field theory, and the cases include (co) minuscule homogeneous varieties and Fano complete intersections. This talk is based on joint works with Prof. Xiaobo Liu.
