Abstract: We will explain a new proof of the Kontsevich-Soibelman wall-crossing formula using spectral networks. The proposal for such argument goes back to the work of Gaiotto, Moore and Neitzke. However, there are certain divergence issues, which hindered its extension beyond the simplest case of a single saddle connection. We explain how to overcome these issues by working with a profinite completion of the path algebra and extending the path lifting function to spectral networks with dense trajectories (joint work with Martin Möller).
