Title: An introduction to the mod p Langlands program

Abstract: Let p be a prime number. The mod p Langlands correspondence is well understood for the group GL2(Qp). However, the situation becomes much more complicated when we consider GL2(K) for a nontrivial finite extension K of Qp. In this talk, we will first give an overview of the correspondence in the case of GL2(Qp). Then we turn to the group GL2(K) and discuss some recent progress in this direction.
