Title: Measure Rigidity for Diagonalizable Actions: Symmetry and Transport of Entropy
Abstract: We will explain two arguments from the last years in the context of measure rigidity theorems for diagonalisable actions on homogeneous spaces. For this we first review the notion of leafwise measure, their fundamental product structure, and the connection to the entropy assumptions. After this we will explain an argument that obtains additional unipotent invariance from an asymmetry in the entropy contribution for coarse Lyapunov subgroups. Finally we explain the quantitative unipotent recurrence and how this can lead also to additional unipotent invariance. All of this is joint work with Elon Lindenstrauss.
