Title: On genus formula for Z_p-towers of curves
Abstract: We present an explicit genus formula for an arbitrary geometric Z_p-tower of curves over a finite field of characteristic p, in terms of new invariants arising from class field theory and Witt vectors. This is joint work with Chris Davis and Michiel Kosters.
