Title: Zeta Functions of Z_p Towers over Function Fields.

Given a Z_p towers ...C_n -> ... -> C_0 of smooth geometrically irreducible curves over a finite field F_q of characteristic p, we are interested in understanding possible stable p-adic properties of the sequence of the zeta function Z(C_n, T) of C_n as n goes to infinity, in the spirit of Iwasawa theory. In this talk, we discuss what kinds of results and conjectures one should expect and explain some of the current known evidences.
