Title: Collapsing Ricci-flat metrics

Abstract: Calabi-Yau manifolds admit a unique Ricci-flat Kahler metric in each Kahler class. An important problem is to understand their behavior when the Kahler class degenerates. I will discuss some recent progress on this topic in the most difficult case when collapsing occurs.
